Uses for Casting
Seed germination – Mix worm casting with soil to provide the seedling with nutrients and accelerate growth. Casting helps to keep soil moist around the seedling. Mix worm casting with soil prior to planting, spread or mix in around existing plants. Watering will allow nutrients to be absorbed into the soil and plants.
Potted plants – Sprinkle a few tablespoons of casting every 2 – 3 months depending on the plant size. The mixtures ratios will depend on the type and condition of the soil. Depleted soil may require more castings while richer soil will need less.
